Thanksgiving is coming and everyone’s favorite family recipe is stuffing! The key to a good stuffing is “BUTTER” and treating your bread before putting it all together.


I like to dry my own bread by cubing it and let it sit out for a few days. The night before I make my stuffing I will sauté my dry bread in some butter, fresh garlic and thyme for a few minutes and let it sit out over night again.  


The next morning I will build my stuffing with the flavored bread using different recipes that I have put together over the years. I do however like the old fashion stuffing with your basics in it and not loaded with twigs, berries and nuts. When you are eating a homemade stuffing and you taste something crunchy and have to ask, “What the hell is that” you went overboard.
