Strawberry Dump Cake
Serves 6 to 8

1 (10-ounce) can strawberry pie filling
1 (18.25-ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (3-ounce) chocolate bar (we prefer Hershey’s)
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1 (8-ounce) container nondairy whipped topping
(we prefer Cool Whip)
¼ cup coffee liqueur (we prefer Kahlúa)

Take your Dutch oven insert and dump in the strawberry pie filling,
the cake mix, and the broken-up chocolate bar. Add the cream
and mix briefly. Put the insert in the Dutch oven, cover it, and put
about 8 coals around the top edge and 4 coals around the outside
of the bottom (not underneath). Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, or until
the chocolate has completely melted. You may want to stir it after
about 20 minutes of cooking, but it’s not mandatory. Some of the
batter may stick together if you do not stir thoroughly.
Once the ingredients are fully cooked, scoop out a nice amount into
some serving bowls, lay some whipped topping on each one, and
drizzle coffee liqueur across the top.
You will have several more friends after they taste this delight.
Mike ate so much one time he got drunk and passed out with chocolate
all over his face. It looked like he made out with an engine!
